Dr. Debra Lawrence

Dr. Debra Lawrence opened her practice in Conway in 2000. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University followed by receiving her doctorate degree at Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She has enjoyed caring for women in Conway and surrounding areas as a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lawrence specializes in general obstetrics as well as high risk and complicated pregnancies. She enjoys taking care of her “momma’s and babies” as you will hear her say. As a “40 something” year old, she feels she understands women’s issues and wants to develop a relationship with her patients that includes trust, faith, and health. Dr. Lawrence enjoys helping women with problems including birth control, infertility, bladder leakage, pelvic pain, hormone imbalances and performs the latest technology in gynecology surgery including in office ablations, tubal interruptions as well as bladder slings and robotic hysterectomy surgery. 


Dr. Lawrence is active in the community. She currently serves as the medical director of Life Choices, a pregnancy crisis center. She has a heart for women struggling with decisions regarding unplanned pregnancies. She and her family attend Second Baptist Church in Conway. She has two children, Carly and Wyatt. She enjoys living in Arkansas and truly feels practicing OB/GYN is God’s will for her life.

Dr. Amy Johnson

Born and raised in Louisiana, Dr. Amy Lynn Johnson completed all of her education in the Shreveport area. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in 1996. She then completed medical school in 2000 at LSU Health Sciences Center. Upon earning her doctorate of medicine, Dr. Johnson then had four years of residency training at LSU. After completion of her training, Dr. Johnson joined the private practice of Conway Women’s Health Center in 2004. She also became a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2008. Her practice embraces all aspects of the Ob/Gyn specialty. Chosen by her peers, she is the Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn Department.


Dr. Johnson and her husband Brad, also a native of Louisiana, have truly enjoyed moving to Arkansas and are now able to call it home. They keep very busy with their three children. Brad & Amy donate time and monetarily to KLIFE (a children’s Christian ministry outreach), STUMO (collegiate student ministry outreach) and Lifechoices. They are members of First United Methodist Church in Conway. Aside from work and family, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening and exercising. She also is involved with the Faulkner County Circle of Friends that helps raise funds for Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Brandie Martin

Dr. Brandie Martin joined Conway Women's Health Center in 2007 after moving from her home state of Louisiana. Dr. Martin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University and then completed medical school and residency training at LSU's Health Sciences Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Martin brings a relaxed, personalized feel to her practice and enjoys taking care of patients of all ages. She is an avid runner and enjoys health and nutrition. Dr. Martin uses these interests to not only provide complete obstetric and gynecologic care, but also to help women meet their overall health goals. "A healthy woman, is a happy woman, and I want to help patients along this journey." Dr. Martin has pursued continuing education in hormone replacement therapy and enjoys discussing with women the evolving options available to them. She also enjoys working with nursing and physician assistant students as they pursue further education.


Dr. Martin is actively involved in many facets of her community. She and her family attend First united Methodist Church where she is a volunteer in the youth department. She is also an active member of the Junior Auxiliary in Faulkner County. Dr. Martin has served on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee for Conway Regional, which was instrumental in raising funds and community support for the newest for the newest addition to Conway Regional Medical Center. She is also a Friend of CASA, an organization of women that aids in supporting the efforts of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Faulkner County. Early in the mornings while her children are sleeping, Dr. Martin enjoys exercising and socializing with her Conway Running Club and CrossFit friends. Above all else, Dr. Martin is a wife and mommy. She and her husband, Trey, have three young children, Jt, Tinsley and Jack. Time not at work is spent playing, swimming, and laughing with her children.

Dr. Josh Ward

Dr. Josh Ward came home to Arkansas and joined Conway Women’s Health Center in 2010. He is a graduate of Conway High School and then completed a degree in biology at University of Central Arkansas.Dr. Ward left his home state to pursue his medical training, receiving his Doctorate of Medicine in 2005 from the University of Eustatius.


He then completed four years of residency training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He is board certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.


He and his wife Brandy, originally from Greenbrier, Arkansas, have two children, Elle and Max. He is thrilled to be “home” and is an active member of Central Baptist Church. Dr. Ward is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and Razorback football.
